LG has been working hard to expand into the home healthcare space. Atul Singh, general manager of digital health at LG NOVA, sat down with MobiHealthNews discusses how the company is considering revamping its consumer electronics products to improve health outcomes.
“Our ultimate vision is to follow the patient home. So, at home, the customer or consumer gets to know us through their interaction with our devices or appliances (TVs, refrigerators, washers and dryers, etc.),” said Singh .
“Once they’re discharged home, we want to expand the scope of care in the hospital to these appliances and equipment that they’ve already invested in to start providing care.”
