Travelers who want a more affordable way to get to the airport, work and live events such as sporting events and concerts can reserve a seat on Uber Shuttle.
Uber has partnered with local shuttle service It will pick up passengers and take them to their destination. Uber said the shuttle service employs commercially licensed drivers, and users can tip and rate them directly within the Uber app.
The shuttles will have 14 to 55 seats. Users can reserve up to 5 seats up to 7 days in advance and receive QR code tickets. Passengers can track the shuttle’s location within 25 minutes of departure time.
The company said the shuttle fare is a “fraction” of the cost of an UberX ride. This tour will not be affected by peak pricing.
Uber will roll out the feature starting this summer at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and select concert venues in Chicago, Pittsburgh and Charlotte, North Carolina. Uber said it will expand its service in the future.
Uber Nanny

The feature also allows for three-way chat between the driver, passenger and caregiver.
Uber said users’ insurance benefits can be used where applicable to help minimize out-of-pocket costs. Uber Caregiver will initially support Medicaid recipients, customers 65 and older with Medicare Advantage, and customers with employer-provided commercial insurance.
