Afghan authorities have refused to acknowledge a girls’s group for the 2024 Paris Olympics, Atal Mashwani, a consultant of Afghanistan’s sports activities administration, instructed French newspaper Le Parisien.
Mashwani mentioned since girls’s sports activities are presently banned in Afghanistan, solely three males are official individuals within the match.
“How can girls be a part of the nationwide group if they do not play sports activities?” Mashwani requested.
The Worldwide Olympic Committee mentioned it had not contacted the Afghan authorities (Taliban motion) and had not invited them to take part within the Olympics.
