Sony Music Publishing UK has promoted Rob Stratton to vp of visible + media rights.
Following his promotion, Stratton will likely be liable for main SMP’s visible + media efforts available in the market, “selling relationships with broadcasters and media manufacturing firms and delivering alternatives for the corporate’s companions,” in line with SMP.
He may even proceed to work with Cathy Merenda and the US Visible + Media Rights group to increase the enterprise globally.
SMP stated that since becoming a member of the Visible + Media Rights group in 2019, Stratton has been “instrumental in driving the success of the corporate’s companions” and has led key offers with Hasbro, Mattel, All3Media and others.
Stratton first joined the corporate in 2014 as director of promotions.
In 2019, he transferred to the Visible + Media Rights Division and was promoted to Director of Visible + Media Rights in 2022.
