A number of raids have been carried out on senior officers surrounding Mayor Eric Adams as a part of a corruption investigation.
The FBI raided the houses of New York Police Division (NYPD) Commissioner Edward Caban and Police Chief Jeffrey Maddrey, in addition to two high aides to the mayor.
Federal brokers raided the Hamilton Heights dwelling of First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright and her lover, college principal David Banks, sources aware of the investigation verify , and the house of Deputy Mayor for Public Security Phil Banks in Hollis, Queens.
