Texas DPS troopers stopped a business truck in Weber County earlier this week. After looking out the truck, they discovered 27 unlawful aliens hiding within the truck’s sleeper berth behind a tarp.
The motive force, Ricky Ward, from Channelview, Texas, was arrested for human smuggling. The unlawful immigrants are from Mexico and Guatemala and have been turned over to Border Patrol.
