OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever, who left the AI startup final month, launched his new AI firm, which he calls Safe Tremendous Intelligence (SSI).
“I am beginning a brand new firm,” Sutskever wrote on X on Wednesday. “We’ll pursue protected superintelligence throughout the board with one focus, one objective, and one product.”
Sutskever is OpenAI’s chief scientist and co-leads the corporate’s Superalignment group with Jan Leike, who additionally left in Might to affix rival synthetic intelligence firm Anthropic.
OpenAI’s Superalignment group, which targeted on guiding and controlling synthetic intelligence methods, disbanded shortly after Sutskever and Leike introduced their departures.
