Kentucky Sen. Johnny Turner died Tuesday from accidents sustained when he drove a lawnmower into an empty pool.
Turner, 76, is a U.S. Military veteran who has served within the state Senate since 2021.
The garden mower accident occurred final month and he has been battling accidents ever since.
The Related Press reported on September 16 that Kentucky State Police mentioned Turner was injured when he drove a garden mower into the deep finish of a swimming pool.
